Bots

Bots are AI riders you can add to any free ride — someone to sit behind, chase down, or just roll along with. They're a free-ride feature, so they won't show up in races or group rides.

Find them in the in-ride menu under Ride Feel → Bots. One setting: pick a preset and it sets the pace, the number of riders, and how they behave. Changing the preset resets the bots.

Presets

  • None — No bots.
  • Social ride — A small, easy group that rides at your side and waits for you. No racing, just company.
  • Tempo — A group that holds a brisk, steady rhythm. You'll work to stay on — good for steady-pace training.
  • Gran Fondo — A varied field scattered along the road ahead, already out riding when you arrive.
  • Fast Friday — A spirited group ride, attacks welcome.
  • Race — A full-field mass start alongside you, holding at the line until your ride clock starts.

Social, Tempo, Fast Friday, and Race wait for your ride clock before rolling out. Gran Fondo is already on the road, so it never feels empty.

Reading the field

Every bot is its own rider with a unique blend of strengths, so no two ride quite the same. Their jersey hints at their tendencies:

  • Green — Sprinter: fast on the flats, weaker on long climbs
  • Orange — Climber: strong on sustained grades, weaker in a sprint
  • Blue — Rouleur: a well-rounded all-rounder
  • Purple — Puncher: aggressive on short, sharp hills
  • Light blue — Domestique: a steady group rider

These are tendencies, not rigid types.

Performance

Larger fields (Gran Fondo, Race) put more riders on screen and can affect performance on older devices. If a ride feels choppy, try a smaller preset or lower your graphics settings.
