Belarus is famously flat. Mazyr didn't get the memo.

The route opens deceptively: three easy kilometres along the river at around 120 metres, just enough to settle in. Then the road tips up into the Mazyr hills and the character changes completely — 500 metres at 8%, with ramps touching nearly 11%, hauling you up to the 208 m high point at km 8.

What follows is the best part. The back half rolls through the ravine country above the town: a long descent to km 10, then straight back up fifty metres to a second summit at km 12, before dropping to the finish at the Church of the Transfiguration.
Almost nothing here is level.
